This internationally recognized artist established a studio in Budapest where she assembled a group of highly talented painters trained in the classical painting tradition. Hand-painted porcelain has a long tradition in Hungary, going back almost two centuries. The hand painting of porcelain is a time consuming and meticulous process. Anna Weatherley's master porcelain painters produce detailed and sumptuous renderings of nature's treasures. A myriad of colors are carefully applied with fine brushes and fired several times at high temperatures. |
