The Chagall Committee granted Bernardaud the rights to reproduce on porcelain a select series of drawings from its archives that present to the public lesser known works by Marc Chagall. In these drawings appear themes that Chagall cherished such as animals and flowers as well as sketches destined to the ceiling of the Opera Garnier in Paris. The crafting of these pieces called on all the technical expertise of the Bernardaud workshops in faithful rendition of the original colors used by the artist.
