Creamware
Creamware, called “Queensware” by its inventor, Josiah Wedgewood, was extremely popular in England, the Continent and the Colonies in the 18th century. The fine-grained white bodied earthenware was a less costly alternative to porcelain and far more elegant than most ordinary potteries of the period.
