Blue Shòu features design elements adapted from our iconic and historic Blue Canton pattern and applied to newer contemporary shapes that echoe the lines of the earlier pattern. The word Shòu (pronounced “show”) is the Chinese word for long life. The evergreen tree appears as the key design element in the dinner plate, symbolizing longevity and endurance.
The design uses classic cobalt on bright white high fire porcelain. This large contemporary serving bowl is good for a salad or even for soup. It is bordered with a mottled blue band and the inside is adorned with tree branches and looks nice as an accessory on the table.
Blue Shòu is dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
